The athletes on the LOWA PRO Team worked with LOWA on the ALPINE SL GTX and scru­tinised every detail. True to the motto “less is more”, the PU scree collar is now being sprayed onto the robust synthetic material to shed weight. A carbon shank and extremely light Vibram®-Alp-Trac®-SL outsole reduce the weight further. The end result is a colourful Alpine boot that weighs just 550 grams per boot. Whilst reducing the weight, the moun­tain­eering boot experts kept stability in mind. Other key details include a func­tional dual-zone lacing system and a waterproof GORE-TEX lining. When you add it all together, you get a light Alpine boot that performs like a pro on the mountain and is making a strong impression on Alpinists.
